El presidente electo, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, y su equipo de colaboradores presentaron el dictamen técnico sobre la viabilidad del Nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de México (NAIM) que contempla dos opciones: continuar con la construcción actual en Texcoco o detener la obra y construir dos pistas en la Base de Santa Lucía.

Javier Jiménez Espriú, propuesto como próximo secretario de Comunicaciones y Transportes, refirió que ambas opciones tienen puntos a favor y puntos en contra por lo que es necesaria una amplia consulta con especialistas y con los ciudadanos.
En conferencia de prensa, López Obrador llamó al pueblo de México a “que nos ayude a resolver sobre este asunto complicado, difícil, que heredamos, pero que tenemos que enfrentar de la mejor manera posible”.
